Manage your Penalty Charge Notice (PCN)
You can use this facility to:
- View details and photographs of your PCN
- Make a payment for your PCN
- Make a challenge or representation against your PCN
Before you start:
Please refer to the Penalty Charge Notice or Notice to Owner form for details and the statutory grounds for appeal. All cases will be considered individually on their merits. More information about the challenge and representation process can be found at www.patrol-uk.info.
Please include any relevant supporting documents such as :-
- A crime reference number if the vehicle was stolen.
- A delivery note if the vehicle was loading or unloading.
- Any supplementary evidence you wish to submit in support of your appeal.
Please note we are unable to accept appeals electronically if the Penalty Charge Notice has reached the Debt Registration stage or a warrant has been issued to a bailiff company. Please instead refer to the Notice of Debt Registration document.
For security reasons, the online challenge form will time out after 60 minutes. You can submit a challenge of up to 3000 characters using the online form. We recommend that you write your challenge in a text editor (such as Microsoft Word, Wordpad, Notepad). You can then either copy and paste the text into the online form, or scan and upload it as supplementary evidence. This is to prevent any data lost due to session timeout.
Uploading supplementary evidence
You will have the option of uploading supplementary evidence with your online challenge form. You can upload up to 6 files. Only JPEG / JPG and BMP files which are 1MB or less will be accepted. We recommend that you produce the electronic files using a scanner or camera before using the online challenge form. If you need to convert the file to acceptable format, please use image processing software or websites (such as Paint, Adobe Photoshop, pixlr.com).
